      February 2024 to Present

      Karman Space Programme

      London, UK

    • Analytically evaluated the rocket airframe, stringers and bulkheads
    • Simulated in Abaqus and Ansys varying loading conditions on the airframe using Finite Element Analysis
    • Collaborated with external vendors and other subteams to integrate and manufacture
    • Mechanical Design Intern

      July 2024 to September 2024

      Guided Systems, DSO National Laboratories

      Singapore

    • Derived the physics of torsional and compression springs from beam theory
    • Formulated an Excel workbook to automatically calculate spring parameters (without using VBA), speeding up engineering design processes
    • Innovated several mechanisms and further refined one selected design to be used in production

      Simulation & Training Systems Hub, Defence Science and Technology Agency

    • Developed a novel pipeline in Python for the automatic segmentation of 3D Models of the world
    • Semantic segmentation was achieved using a transformer model
    • Built glTF and 3D Tiles readers and exporters to contain the metadata
    • Co-authored a write-up on Medium detailing the engineering process of the pipeline

    • Designed a high fidelity simulator using C# replicating the environment and physics of drones
    • Integrated Computer Vision via RTSP and PID Controller through ZeroMQ
    • Reduced need for live testing, changes are easily visualised in the digital twin
    • Wrote an article on Medium documenting the simulator in testing a Computer Vision model and a PID Controller
